My son started karate at Team Dragon Star in May 2015, at the age of 12. He wasn't into sports and I wanted to find an activity he would enjoy, besides playing video games. He loves it, and is excited to go to practice - I don't even have to nag him to get off his video game to go. He likes the instructors and feels comfortable with them. He responds well to their badge-earning system (lots of positive reinforcement), and loves using the weapons. He's earned his second level red belt and is looking forward to going all the way to his black belt. We really love K3 Martial Arts/Team Dragon Star. I highly recommend it.
